Connected Counties

Bucks and Herts have teamed up to increase fibre broadband coverage in the two counties.

We are working with BT to achieve county-wide fibre coverage of at least 90 per cent by the end of March 2016, and have a Universal Service Commitment to ensure at least a 2Mbps broadband service is available to every premise in both counties by the end of 2015.

We are also looking to extend fibre broadband even further, with coverage to reach 95% in Herts by December 2017 and 98% by April 2019, and further plans for Bucks to be announced later this year.
